6. Return via Srinagar or add Sonamarg.
7. Departure.

Seven days in Ladakh

1. Fly to Leh; rest.
2. Leh and gentle local sights.
3. Indus Valley acclimatisation day.
4. Leh to Nubra.
5. Nubra to Pangong.
6. Pangong to Leh.
7. Departure.

This is active. Add one night and a buffer day for a more resilient plan.

Ten days in Ladakh

1. Arrive and rest.

3. Sham or Indus Valley.
4. Nubra.
5. Turtuk or a second Nubra day.
6. Pangong.
7. Return Leh.
8. Tso Moriri or an extra Leh day.
9. Buffer day.
10. Departure.

Fourteen-day Kashmir and Ladakh journey

Use three nights in Kashmir, two days for Srinagar–Kargil–Leh, two acclimatisation nights around Leh, then Nubra, Pangong and a return buffer. If you want both Kashmir depth and remote Ladakh, extend beyond fourteen days rather than deleting rest days.

Customising for travellers

Families with young children and older travellers should reduce hotel changes. Honeymoon trips benefit from two-night stays rather than continuous road time. Photographers need sunrise access and flexible stops. Anyone with health concerns should discuss high-altitude travel with a qualified clinician before booking.
